The National Monument at Vimy. It is a tribute to Canada's contributions and sacrifices in military conflicts throughout its history. Located on the site of the Battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917 in France, the memorial was erected in honor of Canadian service during the First World War. On the left and right, the poppy flowers symbolize the memory of fallen soldiers.
